Open concept is the norm in new homes these days, but not everyone owns a new home! Reconfiguring a main floor design requires a lot of planning, expertise and vision. For this project, we opened up walls, made some rooms smaller while making others larger, and completely overhauled the style. We transformed this Indianapolis 40+-year-old home into a more user-friendly and modern space.

The original room adjacent to the kitchen was a poorly used, cramped space. We opened it up on three sides – removing a wall to the kitchen and widening the entry to the great room and the new lounge area.
